College Football Recap

This week in College Football there were lots of playoff-implicating games, I am here to quickly summarize the games that I saw or the games that I deem the most important to the playoff standings.

Ohio State 21 North Western 7, a game that I did not watch but a game where Ohio State struggled early but came back and won the game.

UNC 31 UVA 28 A game that I watched and as a UNC fan who watched the game, I can say that the score did not indicate how close this game was, we were always in control of this game. We just have a really bad defense, so Virginia finally put up some offensive points, UNC is now ranked 15th in the AP poll, and this is huge, with a Hisman candidate in the mix, we just have to see what happens these next 3 weeks.

TCU 34 Texas Tech 24 Is a game that I did not watch, but TCU is now in a spot to get a very good bowl game, or even compete for a spot in the CFP.

Georgia 27 Tennessee 13 Is a game that did not live up to expectations, we thought we were getting another Alabama-Tennessee matchup, but hey, I don’t think Georgia fans are complaining.

LSU 32 Alabama 31 Is A game that I watched the ending of an absolutely crazy ending. LSU looks like they could go to the playoffs again, and for the first time in my life that I can remember Alabama will not be in the CFP.

Notre Dame 35 Clemson 14 This game is one that I had on the TV but I can’t say I was watching, I was very happy to watch Clemson lose to a team like Notre Dame, which is a team that I believed deserved to be ranked, and now they are.

These are all the games that I believe are important to the playoff race. Who do you think is going to make out that list of top 4 teams, and who is on the outside looking in? If you want to talk to me please DM my instagram @benuncjr.
